Recently I completed a piece that I have wanted to do for quite a long time. Buck, 10×8, Alcohol Ink on YUPO pays homage to my youth. Growing up with a family full of gunsmiths I saw many deer. Most of them at the end of their life in front of me on the dinner table. I spent many hours in deer stands hanging out with my Dad and at one point killed a deer. That one experience made me realize I was not a hunter.
