Day 120: Abstract Birds and Other Stuff in Acrylic on Canvas Paper
I started out tonight with lots of color on the background. Then I scrunched up Saran Wrap on top and let it dry a bit. After I peeled it off I turned it around and around until I started to see all sorts of birds, but not your typical birds. They were skewed imaginary birds. And no, I have not been drinking or smoking funny cigarettes.
Day 119: Bird and Floral in Acrylic on Canvas
It’s a little busy but I’m ok with it. I loved the circles from a couple days ago so I infused them into it. Also felt like doing a larger piece today. It’s 24″ H x 18″ W.
Day 118: Fish Joe Ray Style in Acrylic and Sharpie on Watercolor Paper
I love Joe Ray’s art. He often posts his journal pages with scribbles, sketches and words and it is so inspiring. If you have a moment check out his stuff. It’s very cool!!! http://www.joeray.com/
A few months ago a friend of mine posted some art that she did with Alcohol Ink on YUPO Paper. I was blown away by the color and vibrancy. I did a little research and have added it to my list of mediums I want to try.
