Instructions

Start by thoroughly cleaning your tiles with alcohol. Next, drip, drop, or paint your chosen ink onto the surface. You can use Q-tips, a hand blower, compressed air, a heat gun, or a paintbrush to move the ink around and create dynamic patterns.

To add texture and interest, lightly mist the surface or dab with a paper towel. The hand blower, compressed air, or heat gun can also speed up drying. If using compressed air, remember to work in short bursts—continuous spraying can cause the liquid inside to freeze, temporarily stopping airflow until it thaws.

Once the ink is fully dry, you can add details with paint markers or Sharpies. Allow your artwork to dry completely before sealing it. For a durable finish, coat the tile with Let's Resin UV Resin  or Krylon Triple-Thick Crystal Clear Glaze. If the piece will be for display only, Mod Podge MatteMod Podge Gloss or Mod Podge Sparkle  are a suitable alternative.
