"My story is not anything you haven’t heard. I loved art as a child and was always drawing, painting, coloring and creating something. I began my schooling with an interest in commercial art, aspiring to illustrate art that would someday be plastered on album covers. Album covers turned into cd jackets and digital art overtook traditional illustration, so I rolled with technology and ended up as a professional web designer. My brush turned into a mouse and for several years painting was more of a hobby. I discovered alcohol ink in 2013 and it has allowed me to explore a more abstract and contemporary style of painting. I am moved by the sheer vibrance of color and unpredictable nature of the inks on YUPO paper. I now teach this process and techniques and share my passion for art with others."
